Meet the people behind the decals – Adam!

Ever wondered who made your decals? It might’ve been this guy—Adam, one of the awesome members of our production crew. He’s been with us for the past four years, setting the standard for the high-quality work and craftsmanship it takes to create decals that truly last.

He’s also an XC rider for Team Norra, competing in both XCO and XCM. Let’s have a chat with him!

What do you do at Slik?

– Well, my official title is Production Assistant. I step in once the design team has finalized the decal designs, and from there I handle everything related to production and packing. I’m also responsible for the RideWrap production we run here at Slik.

What do you do when you’re not at Slik?

– I spend many of my free hours training and riding my bike. But aside from that, I mostly enjoy family time and cuddles with Torleif, my dachshund.

What do you currently ride?

What’s your goal for the next season?

– I had big ambitions for the XCM World Championships this year, but unfortunately I broke my wrist in an accident over the summer. Next year, I’ll be fully focusing on national races, the XCM Cup, and a few XCO events.

What’s up with the framed flies?!

– Haha, normally we just have a laugh and show it to the rest of the crew when that kind of thing happens. But Joel—one of the Slik Crew—took it to the next level and actually framed a couple of the flies. And I guess I’m just too nice to throw them out. Honestly, I’m pretty convinced one of those framed flies has COVID. It came in with a returned order from China… in January 2020!
