Decal Care Guide

Your custom bike decals are built for real riding — mud, grit, pressure washing, and race weekends included. But proper care makes the difference between good and exceptional longevity. Here’s how to keep your graphics looking factory-fresh.

After Installation: The First 24 Hours

  • Avoid power washing and muddy rides for the first 24 hours. This allows the adhesive to fully bond with the surface.
  • Keep the bike dry.
  • Store indoors if temperatures drop below 10°C
  • Check the corners of the decal to make sure so they’re fully stuck down

Cleaning Best Practices

– Use Mild Bike-Specific Cleaners
Avoid harsh solvents or degreasers, and rinse thoroughly.

– Go Gently On The Power Washer
High-pressure jets can lift edges if sprayed directly at them.

– Soft Microfibre Cloth
When drying, use a clean cloth to prevent scratching finishes – take care on the corners.

Transport Advice

If you clamp your bike to a bike rack, avoid clamping directly to the decals. The pressure and friction can cause the decals to peel or scratch, directly, or over time.

To protect them, place a soft cloth, towel, or a piece of foam between the clamp and the bike frame. This added layer helps prevent direct contact and reduces the risk of damage during transport.

Keep Your Build Looking Dialled

With proper care, high-quality vinyl graphics can last for decades, maintaining both colour vibrancy and adhesion. Investing in premium materials means less fading, less peeling, and more time to ride.
